LINK Light Rail—Not recommended. Link runs from SeaTac airport to Husky Stadium, which leaves you about a mile from the hotel. You could take the train that far, then catch a Lyft or Uber to Hotel Deca, and that is likely the least expensive way. However, for the $5 you’ll save, its not worth the suffering. The U-District station is under construction a half-block from the hotel, but won’t open until 2021.

Exploring Seattle

Seattle offers many opportunities for exploration; dinner at one of James Beard award-winning chef Tom Douglas’ famous restaurants, a visit to world-renowned Seattle Art Museum, or Seattle’s iconic Space Needle. The city is known for its food, cultural and historic treasures, and a vibrant live music scene. There are ample opportunities for activities–both for the group and individuals who want to experience more of the city on their own.

Aerospace enthusiasts may want to visit one of our two air museums. It’s quite likely the plane you arrive on was built right here in Seattle at the Boeing Company. King County Airport—Boeing Field—is home to the Museum of Flight. It features the very first 747, a Concorde, the original Air Force One, among many other historic air and spacecraft. Boeing wide-body jets are all assembled under one roof at Paine Field in Everett, which is also home to the Future of Flight museum and Boeing factory tour.

Pike Place Market and the Washington State Ferries are always a popular.

Chilhuly Garden at Seattle Center offers not only tours of the Chilhuly Garden and Glass but also package tours that include the Space Needle and Washington State Ferries.
